Vernon Court Reporters is a family business located in Vernon, British Columbia, which is in the spectacular Okanagan Valley. We feel fortunate to live and work in this beautiful part of Canada and are grateful for the clients we have served over the past decade.

Stacey graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Court Reporter Program in 1991 and moved from Edmonton to Vancouver to work as an Official Court Reporter, covering Examinations for Discovery for a freelance firm and working in the BC Supreme Court. She earned her Registered Professional Reporter designation in 1996, followed by her Certified Realtime Reporter designation in 1998, both from the National Court Reporters Association.
In 1998, Stacey was offered a short-term contract at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands, a contract that would change the course of her professional life. What started out as a 6-month commitment has spanned over two decades, providing realtime services for a multitude of international organizations, covering complex war crimes and terrorism proceedings in Europe and Africa.
In 2010, Stacey purchased Vernon Court Reporters from Terry Ross, the original owner who was set to retire, and has enjoyed working in the valley ever since.
When not tapping on her steno machine, Stacey enjoys golfing with her family, playing volleyball, and soaking up the Okanagan sunshine on her deck.
Jillian graduated with honours from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2013 and immediately moved from Edmonton to the Okanagan to start work with Vernon Court Reporters. Since then, she has dedicated her career to serving the clients of VCR with a smile, becoming well-known by lawyers throughout the Interior as their go-to for discovery bookings.
On her off time away from work, Jillian enjoys competing in professional wrestling as a three-time British Columbia Interior Champion, playing video games, piano, guitar, and being on the beach in the Okanagan sun.
